Who these terms are with

This site is operated by Moonwright Studio, an independent creative and software studio run by Norbert Bognar in Hungary. By using the site you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What the site is

These pages describe what the studio does and how to get in touch. They are an introduction, not an offer of contract. Prices, timelines and scope for any actual piece of work are agreed separately, in writing, before the work starts.

Getting in touch

When you write to us through the contact form, we use what you send to answer you. See the Privacy Policy for how that is handled. Do not send confidential material through the form before we have agreed how to handle it.

Commissioned work

Everything below applies unless the written agreement for a specific project says otherwise, in which case that agreement wins.

• Scope and price are fixed in writing before work begins. Anything added later is a change to the agreement, not an assumption.
• Rights. On full payment, the rights to the delivered work transfer to the client, except for third party components and for our own reusable tools and internal systems, which stay ours and are licensed to the client for use in the delivered work.
• Third party components. Fonts, stock media, libraries and models used in a delivery carry their own licences. We name them at handover, and those licences continue to apply.
• Portfolio. We may show completed work as a reference unless the client asks us in writing not to.

AI generated material

Part of our work is produced with the help of AI systems. Where a deliverable contains AI generated material and the law or the platform requires it to be labelled, we say so at handover so the client can label it correctly. The client remains responsible for how the delivered material is published.

What we do not promise

The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available as best we can, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always reachable, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the applicable law.

Links to other sites

Where we link out, that content belongs to someone else and is their responsibility, not ours.

Governing law

Hungarian law applies, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not remove the protections of your own country's law.

Changes

If these terms change, we update the date at the top of the page. The version published here is the one that applies.
